The stadium is complete with a Sunshine Coast fitness sport and recreation TAFE training centre and state-of-the-art gymnasium. Also included with the renovations are corporate facilities, player amenities, warm-up rooms, function room, administration offices and teaching and lecturing rooms.

The stadium is designed so it can be configured from an Australian rules football ground to a rectangular soccer or rugby league/rugby union ground. A main grandstand seating 3,700 spectators under cover is situated on the wing while temporary seating can be placed around the field for rectangular events pushing the seating capacity to 12,000.[1]

The venue has hosted four national events including a pre-season A-League fixture between the Queensland Roar and Wellington Phoenix as well as it's attendance breaking pre-season NRL match between Manly Sea Eagles and Melbourne Storm, which attracted 8,119 spectators.[2]
